赵启正，男，1940年1月生于北京。1963年毕业于中国科学技术大学核物理专业。1963—1974年在核工业部第二设计院工作。1975—1984年在上海航天局上海广播器材厂工作，历任设计科副科长、副厂长等职，职称为研究员（教授级高级工程师）。1984—1986年任上海市工业工作党委副书记、上海市委组织部副部长。1986—1991年任上海市委常委，组织部部长。1991年起任上海市常委、副市长。1993年起兼任上海浦东新区首任管委会主任和党工委书记。1998年起任中共中央对外宣传办公室主任、国务院新闻办公室主任。2002年当选为中国共产党第十六届中央委员会委员。2005年8月起任全国政协外事委员会副主任。

    Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Zhao Qizheng

    Mr. Zhao Qizheng was Minister of the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China from 1998 to August 2005. In March 2005, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He is member of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from University of Science and Technology of China majoring in nuclear physics. He once served as senior engineer at the Design Institute of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry and Shanghai Space Administration. Later, he was member of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Director-General of the Organization Department of the Shanghai Committee. Since 1991, he was member of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai. Since 1993, he was concurrently first Administrator of the Management Committee of Shanghai Pudong New Area.
